Adult education

Jonathan is a trained Anthroposophical adult educator. In this light we are seen on a life’s journey - so the considerations of karma and re-incarnation are seen as an additional perspective to other counselling methods and processes. Jonathan is trained in biographical work, destiny learning and spiritual investigation processes.

Jonathan prefers to call this work “helping conversation” which identifies it separately from other counselling methodologies. In a helping conversation both parties are equals.

If we become more objectively conscious of our thoughts, feelings and actions, we can become as much an observer of the outside world as we can the inner. Our repeating patterns of behaviour, antipathies and sympathies, motives and drives become objects of our observation and the ground from which we can effect change.

Knowing one’s self then creates the possibility of further growth and renewal. The motives for growth become self directed and not imposed by external wishes or decrees.
